Android phones (old and new) not showing up in my Microsoft account.

My previous Android Pixel phone (5a) stopped working. I purchased a new Android Pixel phone (7) and setup with Google account information. I installed multiple Microsoft applications (Edge, Outlook, Authenticator, etc.) and logged into the Microsoft applications with my Microsoft account information. With the Microsoft Authenticator application, when attempting to recover my backup, I receive a notification that there is no backup associated with the Microsoft account! Please note that after first opening the Microsoft Authenticator application I immediately used the recover backup feature
