I have XP Home Edition installed on my computer. I have lost the original

disk and need it to download a game. How do I copy from mine?

You have Windows XP Home Edition installed... Gotcha.

You have lost the original CD for Windows XP Home edition... Gotcha.

You *need* said missing CD to 'download' a game ...

I assume you mean download & install or just install...?

Why do you *need* the Windows XP Home edition to download/install a game?

What tells you that this is the case?

What game is this?

What does your last question mean?

(How do I copy from mine?)

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

If it was an OEM license, you should contact the computer's

manufacturer.

As you can see from the several replies you got, you should probably

change your moniker to "Marlene the moron".

Leaving aside why you need it to do a download, you might get a copy

if you got the original from your OEM, and you ask nicely.

Most often one can download the game file from the game maker.
