everything is gone after i turned my comuter on i didnt do a factory reset but it looks like one was done

opened my computer after shuttingdown and now everything is gone all my pictures and files, i did a system check and it says everything looks good . cant find them in the rycling bin but i can find stuff i chose to delete before this happened
