Guest Joe Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 I have a Windows 2000 domain controller I am pulling out of an environment for various reasons. The 20 desktops were pointing to that device for WINS, but now they are going to be in the same workgroup on the same subnet. Since they are in the same workgroup, how can they still communicate by computer name? I assume ensuring netbios over tcp/ip would do it. Anything else required?
