Why do I need parrental consent? I am 19 years old

Hello,I bought myself a new laptop and signed in using my microsoft account (which I guess is under my mum's family account) and I need to download apps (such as Spofity) but I can't as I need "parental consent".1) If I press the button which supposedly sends a message to my dad's email. He recieves nothing.2) I am 19 and do not require parental cinsent to downlaod things in the UK.I am about to go into my third year of university and will definitely be downloading more apps (Adobe etc) and this is wasting time which I do not have.Any advice would be very healpful.Thank you,Sophie
