Windows 11 timed out during the install and now my primary drive isn't recognized by BIOS. What happened?

I have a new desktop computer that I built. It has an M.2 drive as a primary drive that is directly connected to the motherboard as well as two secondary drives - an SSD and an HHD. I got it working great yesterday. However, I tried to update it to Windows 11 (which didn't work) and now it won't boot. BIOS doesn't even recognize the primary M.2 drive. What is going on?When it was on Windows 10, it worked fine. It saw all three hard drives. However, when I checked the Windows Update list, it said my rig "didn't meet the requirements for Windows 11". This was odd because it's fairly fast and has
