My Windows keeps crashing when I try to start it up: "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED"

My laptop suddenly crashed when I turned it on, it then crashed a second time as it restarted, then a third, and a fourth, and a fifth... I couldn't start up my laptop anymore. I tried to reset the computer to an earlier version, as it had suggested me, but that proved unsuccessful. I noticed it said "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED" on the bottom of the blue screen. I tried to reboot the computer but it required a password to my account I don't remember ever even setting. All the passwords I tried failed. My laptop's brand is HP. I don't recall having downloaded or clicked on any links that could've pu
