laptop running windows 10 cannot read the image files from my sd card on transferred to the card from a windows 11 pc

I transferred photos from a Windows 11 pc onto an sd card (micro sd with the adapter) but I am unable to view them on my windows 10 laptop. Is there a way to view and transfer photos from my sd card created by Win11 to my Win10 laptop? I can still view them on the Win11 pc, but card appears empty when I try to view the photos on my laptop.So, photos on Win11 pc transferred to micro sd card, I can view them on the Win11 pc. I want to transfer the photos from that sd card onto my Win10 laptop.I guess there is no more plug and play anymore.Would I have the same type of issue if I connected my
