Guest Alex Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Hi, I am connected on my computer to my Belkin Wireless Router by my Belkin Wireless Adapter. I can use Internet services such as online games etc. but my Internet Explorer 7 doesn't display any web pages. It says "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page." Can anyone help please?
Guest Newbie Coder Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Re: Connected to Internet, but no web page on IE7? Alex, Are you working OFFLINE? In Internet Explorer | FILE menu & make sure WORK OFFLINE is unticked Port 80 could be blocked. If you have a Firewall then disable it & try again. If the router has a firewall check that port 80 is open In Internet Explorer: TOOLS menu | INTERNET OPTIONS | SECURITY tab & check to see all 'zones' are 'default' On the PRIVACY tab check that you set it to MEDIUM HIGH Post back after this please -- Newbie Coder (It's just a name) "Alex" <Alex@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:13012324-A720-4857-8FD3-8968924529BA@microsoft.com... > Hi, I am connected on my computer to my Belkin Wireless Router by my Belkin > Wireless Adapter. Guest Alex Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Re: Connected to Internet, but no web page on IE7? Thanks, Newbie Coder, but I tried everything and nothing helped. The strangest thing, however, is that although saying I am connected to my wirleess router, the computer I'm talking about can't access the router settings page, which, if it is connected, should be accessable. Maybe there's something wrong with my hardware?

Guest PA Bear Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Re: Connected to Internet, but no web page on IE7? Is this a sudden, new problem or an ongoing one? If you eliminate the router and connect directly via the modem, does this problem persist? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin; DTS-L.org Alex wrote: > Hi, I am connected on my computer to my Belkin Wireless Router by my > Belkin > Wireless Adapter.
