Locate, download and use regularly the following: AD Aware Spybot: Search and Destory 1.4 Spyware Terminator.

Guest Juan Perez Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Re: Virus removal Hi: It looks like more a kind of exploid or malware. Try to use a tools like spybot, http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html and see waht you can detecta and fix. Then my advice it is to go to a AV online and make a full scan of virus and malware. Let us know how it goes. -- Un saludo Juan Perez "LFR" <LFR@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:419F0FD2-A208-4B8E-A180-AD598ACDE846@microsoft.com... > Hello everyone...I need today your help. > one of my computer appear with a System alert message by the clock, asking > to click the window to download an antivirus and antispyware solution... > is a > question mark in blue and change to a x in red.... Yes, it is perfectly OK for posters to ask questions about spyware here. There are many regular helpers posting here who are highly skilled in this area of computing. The OP has gotten the correct answer and has solved his issue. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers http://www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User

Don't click on it! Reinstalling the O/S is way overkill but it will solve the issue. Run a couple anti-malware applications such as SpyBot and AdAware. If you still get this message alert you may need to turn off messaging in system services. If you already have an anti-virus program make sure it has up-to-date definitions.
