My XBox Account Is Somehow Different Than My Main Microsoft Account - Can I Merge or Link Them Somehow?

Hey there, I currently have a main Microsoft Account that I've been using on my PCs for the past decade or so, it has tons of history of settings, purchases, etc.I also have a XBox account that somehow is different from this Microsoft Account, which has never been a problem until now with Starfield having come out. Despite my Xbox App on my PC being signed into the account that has Starfield purchased and installed, it is telling me that the game is not available on my account, meaning that I cannot play this game on my PC despite it working fine on my XBox. Is there anyway to get this game
