how to connect local network printers to terminal server(windows 2

Hello Everyone,

 

We have terminal server installed on windows 2003 server and all clients are

windows xp system.

 

I am trying to connect my local and network printers while accessing

terminal server.but somehow i am not able to see any of my local printers on

terminal server.

 

i have one savin 2015dp pcl printer installed as a network printer in my

network.all my printing is done through this printer.

 

when i login to terminal server i want to connect my local printers to

terminal server but i cannot see any printers in terminal server printer and

faxes.

 

All settings in RDP are set like connect local printers when connection is

done.

In terminal server i have installed the same printer driver.

 

Terminal server is installed in workgroup environment.

 

can any one help me how can i get my local printers connected while i am

accessing terminal server?

 

I am really in desperate trouble.

 

I need to resolve this issue as soon ass possible.

I have seen a 3rd party product work very well for this. It allows an admin

to map home printers to user sessions allowing the user to print to their

local printer regardless of the driver. You simply load the server software

on the TS, then direct users to download the free Uniprint client. No

drivers to install on the server!
