Can't open Properties of a file/folder/shortcut w right-click

Hi,

since a couple of months I am no longer able to edit the properties

with the mouse right-click. It happens that the system does not

responds, and I have to kill the "explorer.exe" process in order to

continue to work, so that W-XP closes all Explorer windows. I don't

know if it happens because I installed the "Norton 360" or some other

software.

Because of that, now it is not possible to set some arguments on

shortcuts and this is really something I need often for developing

software.

Any hint from you?

Thank you very much for your anzwerz.

John

John,

Try the steps under "Method 2" here.

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers:
