Guest Jack Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 I had 2 XP installation in my computer: same drive, same partition but only in different folders. So, I edited the "boot.ini" file to stop asking me which one to boot and I ended up deleting the XP instalation folder I did not want. Everything worked fine until I got a weird message when I tried to get Microsoft updates, here it is what I get: Thank you for your interest in obtaining updates from our site. This website is designed to work with Microsoft Windows operating systems only. To find updates for Microsoft products that are designed for Macintosh operating systems, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/mac How did that happen ? I don't even have a MAC computer or OS, neither ever used one. Any help I'd appreciate it.
