Guest Terri Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 When I go to Start, Search - how can I get it to open to Desktop/My Documents etc instead of the screen that has the word on the left "to start your search etc." Thanks!

Nero does include a search utility with some releases of its software that can be used as a toolbar, and I think google may even do free one called Desktop Search(?). I'm sure someone will know of something similar. Re-reading your post however, it seems you just want a shortcut to My Documents. Nothing will show in the right hand, (left?), until you actually enter a search term in the fields on the right. I'm using Classic Windows Folder view, so maybe the panes are moved around.
