Elonex one +

I'm in need of a laptop and i have seen the elonex one + laptops which are only £100

 

does anyone know anything about them

 

good choice or not?

 

Any advice would be gratefully received!

It will be very slow and very cheaply made for £100 - I have seen similar web books, but none that cheap.

you may be able to access the net and use excel etc but the HDD will be very small.

It is up to you but I would guess that you get what you pay for and £100 is not alot.

well it has:

 

400mhz processor

128mb sd ram

2gb flash memory

wifi 802.11g

 

i have no idea what this means? or if its any good

Well that excuse for a laptop will run Linux and not much more mate I'm afraid.

Ok so it has a 2GB HDD - erm - I would leave well alone

In fact looking again it does actually run Linux as the operating system which demands far less in terms of specification.

It is only capable of running Linux too - the 2GB HDD that it has would be completely used with most versions of windows -

it's ok if you literally just want to use the net but even then 128MB RAM is WELL BELOW minimum specification.
