Help, I am currently having trouple switching certain applications from an integrated graphics to a discrete gpu (an rtx 2070) .

I have used the NVIDIA control panel to change the default GPU to the 2070, and I have set the apps to high performance in the graphics settings, yet they are still using the integrated graphics when started. Some applications, such as some games on Steam, seem to use the GPU over the integrated graphics. I have searched around my bios and found no way of switching GPUs for applications or disabling the integrated graphics. I was wondering if there were any settings I should change before trying to update my bios that may help.Thanks,(Unfortunately images are not uploading, if you need more in
