Guest Michel Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Hi, I made myself a resume in Word which I want to post on the Internet. I have removed my personal data, like name and address from the document, and plan to create an Acrobat pdf file from this Word document. But when I look at the pdf file in explorer I still see my name in the abstract of the file. Hover your mouse pointer above a Word document in Explorer and you will see what I mean. So, this information is still available. My question is, what do I need to do to remove this personal data? I already looked in the properties of the Word document, and saw my name in it. I removed this, but still my name comes back in the file abstract. Michel
Guest Michel Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 RE: Removing personal info from Word document I searched the Registry for occurrences of my name, and found that the program I use to create the PDF file (PrimoPDF) has my name. I changed that and the problem is now solved.
