Microphone audio is only recording in the left channel!?

So I was told recently that the audio coming from my headset is only playing in their left channel. I verified the issue with the 'listen to device' feature in the device's properties. I recently switched from usb headset to 3.5mm. The 3.5mm jack is going through a splitter for my desktop. I do not have a 4-channel headset jack like on a phone. Just a normal 2-channel headphone jack, hence the splitter.There is no "1-channel (x Hz y Bits)" option available (let alone grayed out).All of my drivers are up-to-date.The realtek audio console is updated and this isn't a problem with USB audio device
