When I help another person via Quick Assist, what keys am I allowed to use on my own keyboard to control theirs?

I have found I can type using my keyboard to fill in forms on the screen of the person sharing, enter URLs, type in a document, but let's say I wanted to use WIN+R (to run a command) on their PC, in this case, the Run dialog opens on my own PC. Am I correct in saying that I can type letters or numbers and they will appear on their PC but any keyboard combinations will affect only my own PC?
