If you limit to one session per login name what happens

If you restrict each login to one session, what happens if a second user

connects from another client using the same login? Do they take over the

existing session with existing applications and data, do they kill the

existing session (with possible loss of data) and start a new one or do

they get refused a connection? Is it configurable?

TIA

They take over the existing session.

No, it is not configurable.

Thanks. Is it a smooth transition, i.e. the same files and applications

should remain open in the session?

Yes, they take over the same session instantly. Since it is

the same session all of the same applications are open as

was the case when the previous user was connected.
