Re: Time sync over internet

Hi James,

This is Microsofts doc on how to set it up.

http://support.microsoft.com:80/kb/816042/ Make sure that the server you

setup to sync with an external source is your PDC Emmulator. Also this is

the only server which should go externally to sync, all of your workstations

and other servers should have NT5DS set it the registry

(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters).

This can easily be fixed, if you had incorrectly set pcs or servers, by

typing net time /setsntp: at a command prompt.

This is a list of NTP servers you can use

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262680 .

Hope this helps.
