?? Logging on by pressing ctrl+alt and NOT the delete key???

Hello. I hope someone has an answer for this. I've recently noticed that I

can log on at the welcome screen by pressing only the Ctrl+the alt keys

together and not the delete key. When in windows I can press these 2 keys

together as well and bring up the Windows Security dialog.

Here's the setup.

Dell Precision M65 laptop with Windows XP SP 2 (factory load)

All windows updates applied.

Sticky keys and all accessibility options turned off.

The Delete key is NOT physically stuck on the keyboard.

Ran Symantec corporate antivirus scan, Trend Sysclean, AdAware scans and

came up squeaky clean.

Deleted cookies and temp internet files.

Any ideas what could be causing this. I thought the ctrl+alt+delete

combination was supposed to be the ultimate security prevention.

Please help. I'm worried.

Control ---alt---delete brings up Windows task manager in XP home edition.

What are you running?

I'm sorry, I'm running XP Pro. I thought I mentioned that. The laptop is also

configured to log into a MS Domain.
