help and support on start menu

the help and support on my start menu does not work.

 

message reads - could not start help and support service on local computer

error 126

 

the specified module could not be found.

 

can someone explain this to me please. thanks.

In control panel---administrative tools--services, you have to enable it.

Hi Avian999,

try reinstalling help and support in xp

click start - > run type inf click ok

locate pchealth.inf

rightclick on pchealth and click install

insert the xp sp2 cd when prompted .

thanks for your help, but i haven't got the xp 2service pack disc. i only

have the basic xp disc.

i did try what you said but could only get so far.

thanks for that but i have tried but the same error message comes up every

time.
