Guest David E. Ross Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 I'm using the Fax application that came with Windows XP Home Edition SP2. How do I delete an obsolete entry in the address book? Can I rename an entry? (After all, not only do contact individuals but even the names of their companies change.) Is there a way to maintain the address book without being in the process of trying to send a fax? -- David E. Ross <http://www.rossde.com/> Concerned about someone (e.g., Pres. Bush) snooping into your E-mail? Use PGP. See my <http://www.rossde.com/PGP/>

When you install Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002, the fax service switches to the Outlook Address Book (OAB) as its source for fax addresses. So you don't need to maintain two address books—just one will do." So, depending on which address book you're using, edit it in Outlook or Start > All Programs > Accessories > Address Book -- Lem -- MS-MVP - Networking To the moon and back with 64 Kbits of RAM and 512 Kbits of ROM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Guidance_Computer
