Guest dan Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 When I look at the DHCP leases on my Windows Server 2000 standard, I see the first ten leases taken up by IP assignments to things like sip810a3b.mydomain.com. Can anyone help me understand what these entries are for? thanks.

The only thing I can think of is we do use LogMeIn for remote access to several computers. Could that be it?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Re: DHCP Entries Not Understood Hello Dan, I think not, can you ping the device? You can check the beginning of the mac address for the vendor, maybe it helps you to identify the hardware. Just fill the first 4 doubles in google (think its the first 4) Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. > "Meinolf Weber" <meiweb(nospam)@gmx.de> wrote in message > news:ff16fb6650ea18c9ba0336fe2d25@msnews.microsoft.com... > >> Hello Dan, >> >> Looks like an ip phone.
