Recently i downloaded a program and got the message: "The software you are

installing has not passed Windoes Logo testing to varify its compatablility

with Windows XP.

This software will not be installed. Please contact you computer

administrator."

I contacted the programs maker and they told me to "Currently, your Windows

XP operating system is set up to decline any driver installation not

supported by Microsoft." ".....contact Microsoft or visit their web page for

information on changing the settings of your Windows XP software."

How can I make this work?

Check out:

http://www.nwarwick.co.uk/Windows/UseSignedDrivers.html

This actually explains how to set your system to only used signed drivers,

but it also directs you to the dialog box you need to switch it off too.
