For months when I used the snipping tool (ST) and saved an image, the default was as .GIF file, which is what I want. A few weeks ago, I used the PrtScn function, and when the Snipping Tool screen came up, and I saved the print screen image, the default was .DNG. Every since then, when I use the ST the file type default is DNG, and I don't see any way to set it back to GIF as the default. And suggestions here? Did MS make a recent update that screwed up this tool, which is there usual MO?
