Why is Microsoft blocking a Canon printer istallation?

I'm trying to install a Canon ts 3522 printer on a new laptop with windows 10. Microsoft will not let me install it because it says it isn't a Microsoft supported sight. Tells me to download app from m/s store. I did & it still will not let me download. I need help.
