Guest Dorai Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 While using a password with even Admin access and trying to close a task by pressing <CTRL+ALT+DEL> the message "Task Manager has been disabled by your Adminstrator" pops-up and I am not able to close the the task. This is with XP-Home-SP2. With the same PW (with Admin access) I am also not able to get "Folder Options" under "Control Panel" and with the result unable to View/Delete hidden files. Also unable to Run MSCONFIG using the same PW. But am able to create new PWs etc. Please help. -- Thanks & Regards.....Dorai

Also unable to Run MSCONFIG using the same PW. Your system is infested by malware, installed with (your) administative privileges. -- d-d

For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you owe it to the author.
