Guest Dreamer Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Good morning all. There's this nasty file, called "johnycast.exe", a screensaver instaler wich I downloaded to desktop. When I tried to move it to My documents folder, a pop-up message appeared "can't move the file, it is beeing used by....." I tried to rename it, delet it, even in safe mode without success. Neither Avast antivirus nor Norton 360 find anything in it. How can I get rid of this "thing"? Thanks!

Google gave me more that 200 hits for it - one of them is likely to have removal instructions.

Guest JS Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Re: Can't delete file Try booting to Safe Mode and then remove the file. You can also try Unlocker: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ JS "Dreamer" <dreamer@wal.com.br> wrote in message news:%233zbKNK7HHA.1444@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Good morning all. > > There's this nasty file, called "johnycast.exe", a screensaver instaler > wich I downloaded to desktop.
