Sound Card question

Could i have any recomendations on a cheap-ish sound card maybe even on ebay that would be good for my mic problem, i was thinking of Creative as being a good brand

 

and am watching

That is a good card - used to have one myself ;)

If you are looking at one to keep for a while then the the Soundblaster extreme gamer OEM - think they are around £45 from scan.co.uk - they will be on ebay somewhere.

Thanks, but 45 is a bit high at the moment, but i shall bear it in mind.

Dependant on what you use your PC for only some of the very latest games use anything upward of EAX3 - so if you play games that are over 1 year old, it will be fine and a monumental improvement over onboard.

Im not a huge gamer, i play a few games that are not the very latest anyway, but thanks, youve been a help, shall see how it goes. :cool:
