Guest rj Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I'm not able to backup my C drive to another logical drive on the same hard disk in Vista. I'm able to do it in Win XP. I was told I need a separate hard disk or CD. But I don't believe that. If I can do it in XP I should be able to do it in Vista. I went over the help files and the backup prompts. It says it will backup to drive K and it says I can't include the drive I'm backing up to. All I'm doing is backing up C to K. It goes thru the motions of creating a shadow copy, then I get an error message: The system cannot find the file specified. I thought Vista was supposed to be an improvement on XP. Should I go back to XP??
