PRINT SPOOL PROBLEM: Print spool stopped and cannot start. SPL file cannot be deleted (access denied). A separate spoolsv.exe is still running.

Hi! I have encountered this problem more than twice but this time I somehow can't seem to troubleshoot. The problem usually starts with printing a PDF while "print as image" is unchecked. Print queue will say it's printing but it's actually not, or at least it won't for a very long time.The usual things to do would be stop the spooler, delete the files in spool\PRINTERS and then start the spooler. Also did the enabling/disabling the Acrotray upon startup. But this time I can't delete a single SPL file in the spool folder because "Access is denied."
