Guest Malries Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Can anyone help me? After starting up my computer, I get a message that svchost.exe cannot write to 0x009a6fga. I seem unable to solve this. Can anyone help please?
Guest N1K Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 RE: svchost error 0x009a6fga I might be wrong by saying this, but it could be a virus. I'd fully scan computer for viruses and other malware with some good AV program like NOD32. If that doesn't help, try repairing your windows installation. -- MCSA, MCDST, MCP Systems Specialist http://www.wincert.net "Malries" wrote: > Can anyone help me? > After starting up my computer, I get a message that svchost.exe cannot write > to 0x009a6fga. > > I seem unable to solve this. Guest Malries Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 RE: svchost error 0x009a6fga Hi! Thanks for your reaction No, it is not a virus, i have scanned the computer multiple times with several scans AVG, ewido, spydoctor regcleaner etc). I even re-installed windows XP-sr1. Then, it was away. BUT: I installed office 2003, de-installed it (because I liked my old frontpage) and re-installed office 2000. THEN the error started and cannot seem to get rid of it. I do not want to reinstall windows all over again, since I have to reinstall all of my programs again too. Do you, or anyone else, have an alternative solution?
