Guest Thufir Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Are chkdsk results saved in a text file somewhere? In the event viewer? At least that's according to <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chkdsk>. thanks, Thufir
Guest Alan Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Re: chkdsk results are saved where? Hello Thufir, Click Start | Run and type 'eventvwr.msc' (without the quotes) in the Open: window Press the Enter key or Click the OK radio button. Click on Application in the Event log Click on View | Filter. In the Event Source dropdown control, choose WinLogon. Click Apply and then OK. This will give you a list of the Winlogon events -- including Chkdsk.
