Guest brneyessc Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Why when I unplugged the battery does the screen dim? Is there anyway to change this when it isn't running on the ac adapter? When I have it plugged in the screen is bright, I unplugged the ac charger and the screen on my laptop dims.

It's to conserve battery power, idjut. There probably is an option somewhere in your system to keep it from doing that. Spend some time looking for it (i.e, RTFM)
Guest Jim C Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Re: battery Go to power options in control panel. There shoudl be screen display settings for battery and unplugged. Guest Curt Christianson Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Re: battery An addition. Look under the "Contents" heading "Using the Display".
