Guest grimlock16@gmail.com Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 hi, this happens every couple cold starts. My resolution by default is 1024x768 and every so often, pretty often , i get bumped up to 2000xsomething. its quite a jump and i don't like it. I checked in msconfig, and nothing out of hte ordinary is running at startup, and i don't believe its any of the past system restore points i made mainly because I don't use that resolution ever. any thoughts as to why this keeps happening? its kind of annoying to have to keep reseting the screen resolution.
Guest DL Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Re: win xp pro, screen resolution changes on restart Perhaps you installed a driver update from winupdate, or maybe the resolution you have selected as default is not properly supported by your hardware <grimlock16@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1188828468.409401.131000@19g2000hsx.googlegroups.com... > hi, this happens every couple cold starts.
