I am currently having problems with the netgear firewall. I downloaded netgear to help against viruses and access to unwanted sites.

Now i cannot access a number of sites due to this netgear firewall. For some reason there is no way for me to log into my firewall program and therefore i cant delete any names from the restricted list.

Is there anyway to remove this firewall? Or anything i can use to bypass this firewall?

Thanks

Hi Steven

Welcome to FPCH

What do you mean you downloaded the Netgear firewall?

Netgear supply routers and therefore you can setup a hardware firewall.

What other firewall are you using?

i agree with wolfey,

what firewall version is it, are you sure its netgear, where did you download it from.

i am not aware of netgear providing software firewalls.

My old netgear did not have its own firewall and offered "freedom firewall" to download on the disk at setup. That might be what he is referring to...

My new netgear has its own built in firewall.
