My Bluetooth will not let me add new devices anymore after recent update

Andrew the previous update my computer when crazy and I had to roll back and then another update came out that was stable which would be the most recent update. But for some reason now I cannot add new devices to Bluetooth. All my old devices are connected still and work perfectly but I can’t add a new devices. I can hit the add device button it is not greyed out which I know is an issue for some. The window pops up asking me what kind of device I want to add and if I click any of the options the window closes and nothing happens. If I click it and do not move the mouse it will have the blue
