Guest ss Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 My screen just froze,I am not aware of dowloading anything to cause this. I am using windos xp pro. When it froze it was like picture of micro chips with writing underneath (it was distorted),i has just finished watching bbc news. the pictures of the microchips were not clear but could just make out underneath "Attack history graph". I have rebooted and get message.... "windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt \Windows\system32\config\system" "you can attempt to repair by using original set up CD-ROM" Not sure what all this means or indeed if I have the original CD as had no reason to use for last 3 years (but will try and find) Where what do I do now? any help greatly appreciated. thanks
