There's a program on my laptop called wirelessdaemon.exe that was installed when I had a BT Home Hub but now does nothing but prevent me from using wireless. Apparently "windows cannot configure the wireless connection" and even zero config doesn't work with it (it starts, but then turns off after 20-30 seconds).

I can't actually delete the program, because whenever I try I'm told that "access is denied". I'm the sole user and obviously admin on the laptop so I don't get it. Why can't I remove this program and does anyone know if/how I can?

Any help would be really appreciated

Michael

Wirelessdaemon will be the configuration tool that BT uses in order for you to access the internet wirelessly.

for example -If you buy a wireless card you get drivers with it that you can use Or you can use the windows wireless configuration you cannot use both.

as this would cause a conflict
