Guest asperamanca@gmail.com Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Hi all, I'm a bit baffled by a problem reported by a colleague, who cannot do screen shots on his Windows 2003 server machine. PrintScreen does not work, and neither does the hardcopy mechanism I implemented (CreateCompatibleBitmap fails, stating "not enough memory"). Creating screenshots of single windows (as long as they aren't too big) DOES work, it seems to stop working once the window exceeds a certain size. (And with two monitors, creating a hardcopy of the whole workplace is impossible). Physical memory is not an issue on that machine (2GB installed, plus swap), so the reason must be something else. I remember reading something about Paged Address Pool and System Page Table Entries as two limited resources (and how to configure them, see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;247904) - but frankly, I don't really understand the implications, nor am I sure whether this could apply to my problem. The machine has Terminal Services installed, in case that has implications on the problem Any help greatly appreciated! Robert

No, we had to do multiple reboots to try all the other stuff (stop unnecessary services and applications). Robert
