reznor12 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I am having a bit of a problem with the sound on my new pc. i have vista premium on and a custom built pc (intel core duo 3.00ghz, 4gig ram, nvid 9800 gt). When i am listening to music or anything that has sound on, it stutters when i type. The faster i type the more it stutters. At first it was iritating, now its getting to be infuriating!! P.S. sorry about the spelling :) Quote
reznor12 Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 fixed i have sorted it. the usb for my keyboard and for my speakers did not like being next to each other :) so i just plugged me keyboard in the front and it fixed it Quote
Dalo Harkin Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Glad it's all sorted and thanks for letting us know - wireless routers are reknowned for causing this issue especially with headsets that have amps build in :) Quote Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)Asus P5K premium black pearl4GB OCZ Reaper 8500260GTX Join Free PC Help - Register here Donations are welcome - here PC Build We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. After all, no one knows everything and you may have the answer that someone needs.

kebabthief Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Are you using onboard sound on your motherboard? If you know anyone that has an old soundcard, this would be worth a shot. I've had loads of problems with onboard sound and just fitting a cheapo PCI sound card always seems to solve it. Quote
