Guest Sean Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Hi, As above, scenario is; Shortcut on desktop to share on server, users can write to folder but not browse it for security purposes. When a user drops a file into the folder the local user administrator takes ownership, we would like to retain ownership by the individual who dropped it in there so when a spider process picks the files up it can check owner and log who dropped the file in the folder. Is there a very specific set of permissions that this folder mosut be configured wih for this wo work in this way? Cheers Sean
