Print Que

I have a print que problem on XP Pro.

Printing to a network printer,( any printer ) jobs print out correctly.

Computer is shutdown at night,

When computer is Started in the morning, it reprints ALL jobs from the

previous day.

When checking the printer propertis page, all jobs just sit there saying "

sent to printer "

Jobs have to be cleared manually.

How do I fix this please.

RE: Print Que

I can't think what could be the problem here.

But for a start, can you try to download latest drivers for that printer and

try to update?

RE: Print Que

Did that, it is not printer specific as there are 3 printers to chose from,

they all do the same thing , even after reinstalling all printers.

It has to be OS specific, I just dont know what.

Look at folder

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Re: Print Que

Try opening the run box and use NET STOP SPOOLER

and then NET START SPOOLER and see if that clears them out.
