When checking the printer propertis page, all jobs just sit there saying " sent to printer " Jobs have to be cleared manually. How do I fix this please. madmac
Guest N1K Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 RE: Print Que I can't think what could be the problem here. But for a start, can you try to download latest drivers for that printer and try to update? -- MCSA, MCDST, MCP Systems Specialist http://www.wincert.net "madmac" wrote: > I have a print que problem on XP Pro. > > Printing to a network printer,( any printer ) jobs print out correctly. > Computer is shutdown at night, > When computer is Started in the morning, it reprints ALL jobs from the > previous day. > > When checking the printer propertis page, all jobs just sit there saying " > sent to printer " > > Jobs have to be cleared manually. > How do I fix this please. > > madmac >
Guest madmac Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 RE: Print Que Did that, it is not printer specific as there are 3 printers to chose from, they all do the same thing , even after reinstalling all printers. It has to be OS specific, I just dont know what. madmac "N1K" wrote: > I can't think what could be the problem here. > But for a start, can you try to download latest drivers for that printer and > try to update? > > -- > MCSA, MCDST, MCP > Systems Specialist > http://www.wincert.net > > > "madmac" wrote: > > > I have a print que problem on XP Pro. > > > > Printing to a network printer,( any printer ) jobs print out correctly. > > Computer is shutdown at night, > > When computer is Started in the morning, it reprints ALL jobs from the > > previous day. > > > > When checking the printer propertis page, all jobs just sit there saying " > > sent to printer " > > > > Jobs have to be cleared manually. > > How do I fix this please. > > > > madmac > >

Guest Bob I Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Re: Print Que Try opening the run box and use NET STOP SPOOLER and then NET START SPOOLER and see if that clears them out. madmac wrote: > Yes , files are still there. and printer propertise page says " sent to > printer " > > madmac > > "Bob I" wrote: > > >>Look at folder >> >>C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS >> >>and see if there is files remaining there. >>
