Pendrive recover

hello i need a freeware sw that can recover a dead pendrive,yesterday it was ok but it is not recognized by the usb ports,other tools i use with usb ports are ok but pendrive nothing,and i like to try at least a data recovery

Although if Windows can't see the drive, chances are the recovery software won't either.

hi,i've tried some of these but it seems that the pendrive isn't recocnizable from the usb ports,usually when you insert it in the ports it flashes a light,it's not flashing any light,do you think it is gone for ever,i'm very distracted and worried,i had some school work on it

 

please help

Do other USB devices work in your PC?

other than that as Wolfey said and try in another PC

I know your ports work with other devices but as a last resort you could try it in another computer. To be honest though since it worked before and not now it may be a lost cause. All storage devices of any kind will eventually fail.

 

Try the recovery programs and see what happens. Even the paid ones are no gaurantee though. Data recovery companies exist but they are extremely expensive.

on 3 pc's i tried it,one of them is 2 days brand new and sw's on them had been installed from a pen drive.
