Guest Guest Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 What deternins if you have the option to choose the domain I want to connect to? The network I'm on is a Peer to Peer, but the one I want to connect to is Domain. On the first screen the only option I have is to enter a computer name. After I press OK it asks me for a user name and password, but I still can't enter a domain... What am I missing? Thanks Kelvin

Well in order to login to a domain the computer and user must have an account in that domain. Does that answer your question? <Kelvin Beaton> wrote in message news:%23$Cnj1K8HHA.4612@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > What deternins if you have the option to choose the domain I want to > connect to? > The network I'm on is a Peer to Peer, but the one I want to connect to is > Domain. > > On the first screen the only option I have is to enter a computer name. > After I press OK it asks me for a user name and password, but I still > can't enter a domain... > > What am I missing? > > Thanks > > Kelvin >
