help setting up test lab with virtual pc

At home I installed Server 2003 onto virtual pc on my regular pc. I would

like to add one pc to the domain, a laptop. I would perfer to use my

wireless router for a connection for simplicity.

What should I be using for my dns settings and ip settings? Should I be

using the subnet of my router and dns provided by my ISP or should I be

making up those settings? Should I use DHCP? It's not a requirement to

access the internet, however, I would like to test some things with SUS.

Reason asking, I was able to add the laptop to to domain, but not able to

see any of the shares or printers, etc. If someone has experience doing this

before, I would like some advice.

Hello,

when having an active directory domain, all domain member would use the

domain controller as primary dns server.

Anyway if it's set static or through dhcp. The dns suffix provided by dhcp

server would be the AD Domain.
