Re: lmhost problem

System error 5 is permission issue. So it is nothing to do with lmhost. Ii would double check the permission. Or this search result may help,

System ErrorsIf the net view command fails with a "System error 5 has occurred. .... 2. when using net view \\hostname, you may receive "System error 5 has occurred. ...

Re: lmhost problem

hi

as you seen my hostname is test(ip=10.208.10.1) and when you do a net view

\\test it wont get the system error 5 and when you do add another name on the

lmhost with server01(10.208.10.1) and you do a net view\\server01 you will

get system error 5.Any idea on that?
